बॉलीवुड के एक और दौर का अंत हो चुका है. एक्टर धर्मेंद्र ने 89 साल की उम्र में अपनी आखिरी सांस ली. ये पल उनके परिवार और फैंस के लिए बेहद दुखद है.सभी उनकी आत्मा की शांति के लिए प्रार्थना कर रहे हैं. धर्मेंद्र का घर वैसे तो जुहू में है. लेकिन एक्टर आमतौर पर वहां नहीं रहते थे. वो अपने लोनावला वाले फार्महाउस पर रहते थे, जहां एक्टर अपने स्टाफ के साथ खेती-बाड़ी किया करते थे.

धर्मेंद्र का फार्महाउस लोनावला में 100 एकड़ जमीन पर फैला हुआ है. यहां उनके कई सारे खेत हैं और बहुत सारी गाय-भैंस भी मौजूद हैं जिनका एक्टर पूरा पालन-पालन-पोषण करते थे

धर्मेंद्र अपने इंस्टाग्राम पर फार्महाउस में मौजूद भैंसों के झुंड की वीडियो और फोटो भी शेयर करते थे. फार्महाउस में एक छोटा सा तालाब भी है, जहां उनकी सभी गाय-भैंस नहाने जाती थीं .

Bollywood’s legendary actor Dharmendra, lovingly called the ‘He-Man’ of Indian cinema, passed away on 24 November 2025 at the age of 89. Earlier this month, the actor had been discharged from Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on 12 November and was believed to be stable and recovering at home. He would have turned 90 on 8 December. On the professional front, Dharmendra was last seen in the 2024 film ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’. He was also set to appear in Sriram Raghavan’s war drama ‘Ikkis’, starring Agastya Nanda and Simar Bhatia, with Jaideep Ahlawat and Sikandar Kher in key roles.

From the late 1960s to the 1980s, he acted in many hit films such as ‘Ankhen’, ‘Shikar’, ‘Aya Sawan Jhoom Ke’, ‘Jeevan Mrityu’, ‘Mera Gaon Mera Desh’, ‘Seeta Aur Geeta’ and many more. Over the decades, Dharmendra won immense love for his versatility, natural screen presence and evergreen charm. Acharya Bhupendra Shastri reveals details of Dharmendra’s last rites

The final rites of the actor were held on Monday at the Pawan Hans Crematorium, attended by numerous Bollywood superstars, including Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, among others.

Acharya Bhupendra Shastri, who performed the last rites of veteran actor Dharmendra, said, “All the rituals have been performed. We pray for the salvation of the soul of the great actor. All the members of the family were present there. No one can fill his space. He was a gem for the country. He served as a legacy for society. He has millions of fans across the world…”

When Dharmendra and PM Modi bonded over parathas

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and actor Dharmendra, who breathed his last on Monday, came from diverse backgrounds but were known to share their love for parathas.
In a video shared by “The Modi Story”, an X handle that shares anecdotes from the PM’s life, the late Dharmendra is seen sharing a memory of a breakfast meeting he had with Modi, who offered him parathas along with dhokla and other delectable Gujarati dishes.

“It was a delectable spread of Gujarati dishes such as dhokla, but at the center were some mouth-watering parathas,” the actor said.

In the video, Dharmendra recalled that Modi told him that he took a liking to parathas while working in Punjab, where they were commonly had for all three meals in a day.
